Clarkson Potter asked us at Pop Chart to design a deck of playing cards that could act as a companion product to a space themed puzzle.
I wanted to highlight non-manned aircraft and their flightpaths through our solar system.
Each suite of cards is associated with a planet, and each face card within the suit shows a specific orbiter's path around shown planet.
Each diagram below shows the flight path breakdown that informed the design of the associated face card.
